ABOUT GOALKEEPER PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Goalkeeper Performance Training is committed to providing the highest quality training to goalkeepers of all skill levels who wish to perform at their best. GKPT believes that all goalkeepers can develop and reach their peak performance with focus, commitment, and quality preparation.

GKPT provides individual goalkeeper training as well as small group trainings, club clinics, and goalkeeper camps. Through specialized training sessions, students focus on proper technique, tactical decision-making, and strength and conditioning all while building confidence and leadership skills.

Tara (Berardi) Masci, Rochester native and founder of Goalkeeper Performance Training, holds her Advanced National Goalkeeper Diploma as well as her USSF D License. With extensive experience in coaching goalkeepers at the college, high school, and club levels, she values the importance of differentiated training for the most effective learning and growth at each stage of a goalkeeper’s development.

Tara’s playing experience includes the pre-professional W-League Rochester Ravens where she played six seasons between the sticks, including an exciting exhibition game against the US Women’s National Team.  She played college soccer at the Division I level competing in the Big East Conference, and is a proud Hall of Fame Inductee at her high school alma-mater, The Aquinas Institute.

Tara is intense and passionate and is committed to helping goalkeepers grow, excel, and accomplish their goals. She strongly believes that to perform like a champion, you must train like one!
